Meet The Team

Buddy Love for Pets was founded in late 2017 by Sam Hattrill, with Sophie King coming on as a walker and later a Partner in 2021. We have since seen our wonderful founder move on to a new job, but Buddy Love has continued to grow into a family of 7 staff, over 100 dogs, and all of their amazing humans (some of whom are photographed above at one of our Big Client Walks).

Sophie now has a great team of ladies working along side her and couldn't be more proud to introduce them to you:

Our wonderful Emma has been with us since we opened our daycare centre in 2021 is now our lovely daycare assistant, working alongside Daisy who between them keep our centre running and all of our daycare dogs entertained.

By mid 2022 we were growing so quickly that we had to hire two new walkers at once, which brought us our amazing Jo and Freddy who have so much love for our dogs we're a bit worried they'll burst with it! We've also adopted one of Freddy's children who works part time for us whilst studying animal behaviour and training. Elodie has become our unofficial training and nutrition expert, designing stimulating enrichment activities for the daycare dogs. Most recently, we have hired the amazing Vicky who not only has a degree in Animal Management but is also stepping up our photography game with some truly amazing pet portraits.
